Legacy Publishing Company Launches “GoodNewsGoodJobs.com” Hiring Initiative

WESTBROOK, Maine, August 24, 2010—During these tough economic times, most companies across the country are either letting people go or putting a limit on hiring. Not so at Legacy Publishing Company, which produces The Total Transformation® Program for parents. In spite of the bleak economic forecast, the Maine publishing and marketing company has continued to grow and add on to its sales force at its Westbrook, Brunswick and Auburn locations. To that end, Legacy has recently launched a regional “GoodNewsGoodJobs.com” employment initiative, featuring a website that advertises—and delivers—good jobs for Maine people.

“We’re excited to be creating jobs that pay well and give people amazing career opportunities right here in Maine,” says company CEO and Founder Steve Anderson. “We do this in an environment that counts respect—for ourselves, our co-workers and our customers—as our most important value.”

The need for more skilled salespeople reflects the company’s exponential growth: to date, nearly a quarter of a million units of The Total Transformation® Program—just one of Legacy’s world class products—have been sold.

Says Anderson, “We have more calls coming in from potential customers than we can answer. In this economy, that’s a good problem to have. Our new sales compensation policy is an aggressive plan designed to attract and retain highly skilled sales professionals who will join Legacy’s already excellent team. We expect to see some eye-popping paychecks.”

Company President Susan Lemieux agrees: \"Sales representatives at Legacy Publishing are ambassadors for our company and experts in our products. It’s a critically important job, and we believe in providing the people who do it well with outstanding earning potential and excellent benefits.\"

The GoodNewsGoodJobs.com campaign includes a new recruitment website, local radio spots, outdoor signage at the Legacy office in Westbrook, a transit campaign on buses in Portland and Lewiston/Auburn, and new online recruitment ads on Jobsinmaine.com.
