Legacy Publishing Company Announces New Sales Department Changes

WESTBROOK, Maine, May 18, 2010 — Legacy Publishing Company, a premier producer and publisher of personal development products for families, is pleased to announce a number of new changes in its Westbrook, Brunswick and Auburn Sales Centers. Legacy has recently made three strategic in-house promotions:  Pam Dixon to Sales Trainer, Anton Kaufer to Sales Manager of its Brunswick Office, and Wayne Thornton to the role of Sales Supervisor in Auburn.

Pam Dixon has been with Legacy since 2002 and has held many different positions during her tenure: Sales Representative, Shift Leader, Sales Manager-Brunswick and Sales Manager-Auburn. Dixon also had a pivotal role in the opening of Legacy’s Brunswick and Auburn Sales Centers. Says Director of Sales Kevin Chute, “Pam’s extensive sales experience, high level of energy and professionalism and ability to train Sales Representatives on our sales process give her the perfect background for Sales Trainer.”

Anton Kaufer joined Legacy earlier this year and has worked in Auburn as a Sales Representative and Shift Leader. Prior to joining Legacy, he was the Retail Advertising Manager at the Portland Press Herald. In his new role, Anton will join Legacy’s Sales Management team, allowing him to use his strong management and hands-on sales experience to grow Legacy’s Brunswick Sales Center.

Wayne Thornton joined Legacy in November 2009. He has worked in Westbrook as a Sales Representative and Shift Leader.  In his new role, Thornton will maintain quality and integrity standards as the Auburn sales team continues to grow and move forward.

Says President Susan Lemieux, “I’m very excited about the recent changes to our sales management team. The internal promotions of Pam, Anton and Wayne from our current staff have been very satisfying for us. We were quite fortunate to have such talented people already on staff to promote.”

In other Sales Department news, Legacy has named Dan Tanguay, of its Auburn Sales Center, as its Sales Representative of the Month for May. “Dan was chosen because he embodies the qualities that Legacy searches for in its Sales Reps: dedication, loyalty, and enthusiasm,” says Director of Sales Kevin Chute. “Since coming aboard, I’ve been delighted to discover the high level of quality and commitment amongst the Representatives in Legacy’s Sales Department.  We are extraordinarily fortunate to have skilled salespeople like Dan on our team.”
